Derek has major interests and performs extensive advanced reproductive surgeries such as microsurgical sperm retrieval (micro-TESE), microsurgical vasectomy reversal (vasovasostomy), laparoscopic microsurgical tubal reversal (re-anastomosis), tubal surgery (salpingolysis, salpingostomy), laparoscopic fibroid removals (myomectomies), uterine reconstruction (for congenital anomalies) surgeries and advanced endometriosis surgery (certified Level 5/6 laparoscopic surgeon). These procedures are performed through unique minimally invasive microsurgical approaches, which are superior techniques with improved precision and minimal tissue handling/trauma, permitting rapid recovery for same day discharge and better surgical outcomes.
